Why Should You Hire a Full-Time SEO Expert?

SEO Expert

Want to increase your website traffic or sales? You need an expert in digital marketing.

So you’ve decided to hire a UK SEO professional

An SEO professional is someone who has knowledge in the field of digital marketing, and who is successful at finding new clients, and they are the ones who can help you find the right clients and make sure they turn into paying customers.

SEO professionals would be well-versed in SEO, web development, e-commerce and internet marketing, so they could understand where your target audience is and what their needs might be.

They will also be able to advise you on what your next steps should be as far as search engine optimization (SEO) is concerned. They will also have a good understanding of how to make use of WordPress or any other CMS that you want to use on your site.

They will be able to get you started with Facebook ads for your business, Twitter ads for your business or any other type of social media – so that people can find you when searching for your company name or category and when browsing through the results from any search engine result like Google, Yahoo! or Bing!

If it is a good fit, they will also be able to help you get discovered and get more people visiting your site (and perhaps even clicking on some links). In short: they know their stuff!

The Pros of Hiring a Full-Time SEO Expert

The Cons of Hiring a Full-Time SEO Expert

SEO is the new frontier in marketing. With the rise of SEO and its importance on the marketing side, there are a few SEO pros that are overpriced and under-prepared to help you get anything done.

I’d like to share with you some of my experiences and recommendations for hiring a full-time SEO expert.

First of all, I’m not an SEO expert myself. I just play one on YouTube. But if you want me to do something for you, I’ll be glad to do it for you at a reasonable price (and it will be more than reasonable). If you want to know how easy it is to hire an SEO expert from my experience, please read this post here.

The biggest mistake I made was hiring someone without any prior experience doing it; that resulted in me making some very expensive mistakes which ultimately cost me $3,000 USD in wasted money. So before we start hiring anyone, let’s go back to what we know about the keywords for search engine optimization (SEO), namely:

  • Keywords = phrases that most people type into their Google search bar or click on in their browser
  • Keywords = phrases that most people type into their Google search bar when they are looking for things online (there are exceptions but they are very rare)

Conclusion

The answer is actually pretty simple: if you want to focus on your marketing, and not on your SEO, then hiring an SEO expert makes sense. But if you want to create an SEO-related business for yourself, then your marketing will probably end up being more of a secondary or tertiary activity than a primary one.

The reason for this is simple: it’s much better to hire someone who can help you with the basic technical aspects first and then focus on the marketing second (or even third). If they have knowledge of how search engines work and what they consider good content to be, they can do the heavy lifting (and help you with more organic searches than just keywords).
